The original plan was to start this yesterday, but as it turns out that was April Fool's. Haha waiting one day has its perks.

Here comes the theme I've had planned for months

Wait hold on let me take a selfie

A selfie is defined as a photograph that one takes of oneself (Dictionary.com). Whether if it's with friends to make a memorable event even more so, or whipping out your phone at the worst of times, a selfie is a selfie.

What does that mean? You have two genres regarding your piece- quality and originality. The more I laugh means you have a better chance of winning. Your artistic ability isn't everything!

We can't have anarchy run a contest. Here are some rules you have to follow.

You can draw as many characters as you'd like, and can throw in your own characters as well. The characters can have any outfit, or be in any species. Change them from furry to human or Sonic or something, doesn't matter! Make them Bionicles if it'll work for you. If you want to include your own character(s), make sure your piece doesn't focus entirely on them

NOTHING NSFW will be accepted. If you wouldn't show it to your family, then you shouldn't submit it as a piece. Plus that's weird.

Don't use bases. Seriously. Stick figures are better than that.

You can use any artistic medium! Any art software, any markers, anything! I just advise you to be careful, as some scanners will screw up your picture.

Collaborated entries are accepted, but you'll have to split your prize evenly.

Only one entry per person.

That's a date we can all get behind. Gives you plenty of time to work and is easy to remember. I've provided a countdown that I'm like 90% sure it's accurate. Haha look at all that time. ~~I'll extend the contest once, if I'm asked by at least three people, but we'll go from there.~~ The contest has been extended once already, so it won't be done again.
