Weaknesses: Achluophobia (fear of the dark), usually challenges opponents simply because she wants to prove that she's not worthless, and can't smell out toxic fumes like carbon monoxide due to her congenital anosmia.
Personality: Laid back, out-going, friendly, sarcastic, isn't afraid to speak her mind, brave.

Attack Style-The Lock-On

The Lock-On is a gun created by Sandra's father, Ron Divert, a well-known mechanic in Aeroglave. The gun has 100% perfect accuracy, hence its name, and uses heat-seeking charges to strike the opponent. Instead of bullets, however, the gun's design takes positive and negative charges, also known as lightning. Even though the gun seems perfect, it has some flaws. Because of the gun's heat-seeking abilities, it can also fire at things hotter than the average body temperature, like fire, plasma, or it can get redirected by metal, if the opponent knows how (otherwise, metal is more of a beacon). Opponents can also deflect the lightning, or leap behind a barrier to block it. If the Lock-On has enough power, it can create a large blast that has enough power to severely damage the opponent, and in some arenas, knock them over the edge (This blast causes some discharge to Sandra, making her hair poofy and stunned for a few seconds). The Lock-On does not have enough energy to kill, however, since Sandra wanted it designed that way. Simply enough to scare or to show her strength.

How it works-The Lock-On is designed with a hammer, trigger and trigger guard, barrel, and seven muzzles in a hexagonal shape at the end. Each muzzle has a small cap-like gel that directs the lightning. After the hammer is pulled back with the thumb, one can aim the Lock-On and fire. If your opponent does not have an attack style with things hotter than the average body temperature, or if they have metal on them that cannot redirect lightning, then aim isn't too drastic if you don't get it right.

Basic biography
Sandra was born to Carrie, a botanist, and Ron Divert, a mechanic for the government, in Aeroglave. She was born with congenital anosmia, or the ability not to be able to smell, which left her parents concerned for her safety, and made them a bit overprotective of their daughter. They raised her on the outskirts of Aeroglave, in a home a bit isolated from civilization. When she became 8 years old, Sandra grew curious of the "outside world", and began to explore around their property. One day, about a couple minutes away from their home, she came across one, with a large training ground in the backyard. A boy was there, not much older than herself, playing with ...a floating book? She walked over and introduced herself to him, and he told her that his name was Octavian Lucir, a sorcerer in training. She quickly grew interest, and as they talked, he told her of a sport in central Aeroglave named Streetlight, named after how sudden a street light can just light up out of no where, symbolizing how fast the battles can erupt. Even though Octavian would have to be 16 to fight, and Sandra, 19, they decided that they would become the very best at Streetlight.

2 years later, on Sandra's 10th birthday, Carrie Divert was caught in a vehicle accident and died.

Ron Divert became very secluded after her death and would stay in his workshop for hours. Sandra began to learn to take care of herself, including cooking, growing her own food in her mother's garden, cleaning, learning (she was home schooled by her mother), and even athletic needs. Her father never seemed to come out of his workshop anymore, so she would go to Octavian's house almost every day. Any time she brought up her going into Streetlight to get some extra money, he would deny it, and said that she was too young to train for such a dangerous sport. It wasn't until Sandra became 15 years old that Ron would come out of his workshop for long periods of time.

Sandra went to the market to buy some gardening utensils, when three men mugged her. They beat her up, broke her left ankle, took her supplies and money, and left her to die in one of the darkest alleyways. She was left there, unable to move, and became traumatized by the darkness overnight. In the morning, a few locals spotted her and took her to the hospital, and phoned Ron on the situation. He immediately came and, when learning of the situation, said that he would change and protect Sandra again like he used to.

Weeks later, when Sandra was able to walk on her own, Ron taught her some martial arts skills. During so, she brought up the sport Streetlight again. Ron hesitated a bit, so Sandra said that she wouldn't begin training until she turned 18, a legal adult. He agreed, but told her that she should never change because of the arena.

Between the ages of 16 and 18, Sandra would visit Octavian and help him with training (he was 17-19 at the time, and able to participate in Streetlight). He told her of the adrenaline rush that you get when the starting buzzer rings, and the thrill of being able to defeat an opponent. Octavian wasn't a strong opponent, so he participated in junior tournaments, which would give out prizes of only 135 mals (Equivalent to $50) to the winners. They weren't very large ones, but were still great training.

Before Sandra turned 18, she asked her father to design a weapon for her for Streetlight. She had always taken a fascination in firearms that he would design for military defense, but asked that he make one that wouldn't kill anyone. Ron designed the Lock-On, a gun harnessing charges in the air to make electrical blasts. It took a few months of design and creating, but the Lock-On couldn't be more beautiful. When she became 18, Sandra started to use the Lock-On in combat training against Octavian, and quickly became skilled at it. Octavian promised to her that the day she turned 19, the legal age for a woman to participate in Streetlight matches, he would take her to the Block, a mini arena made of Metallic Glass, see-through, yet completely durable. That would be the place where she would have her first match. She agreed.

And the day Sandra turned 19, she would have no idea what she was getting into...

Just ignore the bio stuff...I'm going to be making HUGE changes to the comic series she'll debut in...

Other things
-She hates it when others learn that her middle name is "Belle". It's really girly-sounding, and everyone teases her about it. If you ever call her Belle, don't expect your conversation to end on a high note...
-Sandra's a tomboy, meaning that she dresses and acts like a guy. Most of the time, her friends try to get her to wear dresses, and that annoys her. But why does she wear heels? Hmm...
-She has an extreme soft spot for ice cream. Want to flirt with her? Buy her ice cream. Seriously, no matter what flavor, she loves it. In turn, she's a vegetarian, meaning that she doesn't eat meat (On Malsuer, they have a meat substitute).
-A couple hobbies of Sandra's are gardening and helping her dad in his workshop. She's great at fixing small appliances when she needs to.
-Sandra is planning on joining a community college near her home in Aeroglave. The year she turns 19 (aka the start of the series) is the year just after high school, and she decided to wait until the next year to start college, so she could participate in Streetlight until then.
-A lot of people think that she's 14 years old, due to her height and her childish personality. When people treat her as one, she gets tempted to shoot.
